Let’s Get Ready for Some Football!

I was so excited for last night’s Viking’s game I could hardly work! After work, I met up with Dana at the gym and we busted out an hour of Group Fitness. I knew I needed to get a work-out in because I was about to eat a ton of wings followed by some refreshing beers! There are so many reasons why I love football but the eating ranks high on the list 🙂 Chris and had been talking about the game all week and we both met at the house like two little kids at Christmas. The dinner was a joint effort as we were trying to get our spread ready in time for kick-off! The Vikings lost unfortunately but the food was a win!

Easy BBQ Wings

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp. Durkee Red Hot Cayenne Pepper Sauce
  • 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder, melted
  • 1 tsp. catsup

Directions:

Add sauce ingredients to melted butter, one at a time; stir thoroughly. Let stand while splitting wings at each joint discarding tips. Pat dry. Deep fry at 400 degrees for 12 minutes or until completely cooked and crispy. Dip wings in sauce to coat completely. Makes 24 to 30 individual pieces.
